On Sunday, 19th November, 2017 was orginized an International Fleet Review ASEAN 2017 to Commemorate the 50thAnniversary of ASEAN Establishment.
The fleet showcase was displaied 40 modern warships from the ASEAN countries. The Navi Forces was also participated in a Land Parade.
Special adviser of the naval base in Sattahip, Admiral Poldej Charoenpol, at the official opening of the parade said, that this event will attract tourists and foreign investors to the city, and will allow other states to declare themselves and demonstrate the power of their navy.
